（中外新闻网记者马晓忠）4月7日，卢旺达驻华大使馆在北京举行“第22届纪念卢旺达图西族人民大屠杀仪式”，悼念在1994年大屠杀中罹难的一百多万图西族同胞。本次纪念仪式的主题是“与种族灭绝思想抗争”。中外新闻社副社长马晓忠、乌干达驻华大使查尔斯.玛迪波.瓦基杜索、南苏丹共和国驻华大使迈克尔.米利.侯赛，中国-非洲国家贸易促进会、欧盟委员会、联合国相关机构、阿拉伯国家联盟及一些国际组织的代表应邀出席纪念仪式。
April 7th, the Rwandan Embassy in China held “The 22nd Genocide Commemoration against the Tutsi” in Beijing to mourn for more than one million victims during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The commemoration's theme is “Fighting withGenocide Ideology”.The Deputy Director of Home and Abroad News Press Mr. Ma Xiaozhong, Ugandan Ambassador to ChinaH.E. Mr. Madibo Charles Wagidoso, South Sudan Ambassador to China H.E. Mr. Michael Milli Hussein, China- Africa Trade Promotion Association, European Commission, United Nations, the League of Arab States were invited to attend the commemoration event.

曾经在大屠杀中失去亲人的幸存者代表讲述了那段痛苦的回忆。乌干达驻华大使查尔斯.玛迪波.瓦基杜索代表北京外交使团致辞，对卢旺达人民遭受的痛苦经历表示慰问，并祝愿卢旺达人民在未来的日子里享受和平的幸福。
The representative of the genocide survivors shared their painful memories. Ugandan Ambassador to China H.E. Mr. Madibo Charles Wagidoso delivered a speech on behalf of Beijing diplomatic delegation to express his condolence to the suffering Rwandan people and wish a happy and peaceful future for all Rwandan people.

Rwandan Ambassador to ChinaH.E. Mr. Charles Kayongadelivered a speech. He said that the commemoration's theme is “Fighting withGenocide Ideology” this year. The genocide ideology is the root cause of the massacre. We have to face up the history and severely condemn those who created the massacre. At the same time, to prevent the resurgence of thisideology. Looking back at history is to better cherish the present and the future. Under the leadership of President Paul Kagame, the Rwandan government will encourage and lead its people to fight for unity and peace, then eventually eliminate any kind of genocide ideology.
