On the evening of September 29th, 2020, Home and Abroad News Press held the National Day Reception Dinner in Beijing. The participating ambassadors included: the Ambassador of Slovakia to China, H.E. Mr. Dusan Bella, the Ambassador of Albania to China, H.E. Mr. Selim Belortaja, the Ambassador of Malta to China, H.E. Mr. John Aquilina, the Ambassador of Iceland to China, H.E. Mr. Gunnar Snorri Gunnarsson, the Ambassador of Tunisia to China, H.E. Mr. Dhia Khaled, and the Ambassador of Algeria to China, H.E. Mr. Ahcene Boukhelfa. In one more day, we will be celebrating the 71st National Day of the People’s Republic of China. At this time, the banquet hall of Redstone Gallery Pavilion is filled with festive atmospheres. At 6pm, all the guests stood up and sing the national anthem of the People's Republic of China. This is the warm wish of the world to our motherland’s birthday; this is also the perfect integration of the Eastern and Western cultures as well as a symbol of harmony and joy in the world's big family.

She said in her welcome speech that over the past 71 years, our Chinese Communist Party has led the people of all ethnic groups across the country, united and worked hard to build the New China from the ground. With the music, the ambassadors took the stage one by one. They highly appreciated for the “Ambassadors’ National Day Dinner" organized by Home and Abroad News Press. They can gather with many ambassadors and diplomatic colleagues from various embassies and sincerely wish the 71st birthday of China on behalf of their governments and people. They all stated that China took the lead in successfully controlling the COVID-19 pandemic in the world and actively carried out international cooperation in the fight against the pandemic, which fully demonstrated the responsibility of a major country. At the banquet, “The Ambassador’s Club VIP Cards” were presented to each ambassador.
