（中外新闻社 中外新闻网记者 刘桂英 马澜）2023年3月20日, 庆祝突尼斯共和国第67个独立日招待会在突尼斯大使馆官邸隆重举行。突尼斯驻华代办大使Mustapha Abid先生, 突尼斯驻华武官Slim Mekki先生, 突尼斯国家旅游局驻华首席代表Anouar Chetoui先生以及突尼斯驻华使馆全体工作人员在官邸热烈欢迎各位来宾。各国驻华大使、领事和参赞, 中方各部委、企业来宾, 各媒体代表以及来自摄影、时尚、艺术、餐饮、旅游等300多位朋友们汇聚一堂。
On March 20, 2023, the Reception for the 67th Anniversary of Independence Day of the Republic of Tunisia was held at the residence of the Tunisian Embassy. Chargé d'affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in China Mr. Mustapha Abid, Military Attaché of Tunisia in China Mr. Slim Mekki, Chief Representative of the Tunisian National Tourist Office in China Mr. Anouar Chetoui and all the staff of the Tunisian Embassy in China warmly welcomed the guests at the residence. Ambassadors and counsellors from many countries as well as Chinese guests from ministries and enterprises, media representatives and about 300 people attended this celebration event.

Mr. Mustapha Abid delivered a welcome speech. He said, "We are delighted to celebrate our Independence Day at this special time. China has successfully overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and the negative global impact, and it has resumed normal economic, commercial, scientific, cultural and tourism exchanges with the rest of the world. I would also like to congratulate His Excellency President Xi Jinping on his third term as President of the People's Republic of China and look forward to his leading China to achieve better development.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, a global development-oriented proposal aimed at achieving socio-economic development goals through the development of cooperative projects within the framework of bilateral or multilateral cooperation and achieving common development on a win-win basis.

In this regard, Tunisia has also worked with our Chinese friends on a number of development projects, notably the Hédi Chaker University Hospital of Sfax, the Ben Arous Sports and Cultural Center, the Tunisian Diplomatic Academy, etc.

The first meeting between President of the Republic of Tunisia H.E. Kais Saied and President of the People's Republic of China H.E. Xi Jinping in Riyadh last December, during the First China-Arab States Summit, demonstrated that the two countries are trustworthy partners, which will have a positive impact on the promotion of cooperation in other areas of development and investment projects between the two countries and meet the expectations of their peoples in promoting bilateral cooperation.
