On February 28th, Home and Abroad News Press Ambassadors Club Business Dinnerwas held at the 16thfloor ballroom of China International Futures Co., Ltd. in Beijing. Mr. Jiang Xin and the CEO of BeijingBlue Ocean Star River New Energy Co., LtdMr. Zhang Xiaoqingas well as the deputy director Ms. Chen Xi. Before the dinner, the two sides had friendly exchanges and in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities.

Mr. Jiang said, China International Futures Co. Ltd. was established on October 30, 1995 with business lines including commodity futures brokerage, financial futures brokerage, futures investment consulting, asset management and fund sales. China International Futures Co. has invested in 6 foreign companies, and its business with overseas countries has been carried out smoothly, and so far more than 50 embassies and envoys in China have visited our company to discuss cooperative projects. As a capital market service company, we are looking forward to cooperating with Africa, especially Nigeria, which is the largest country in Africa in terms of population and economy, and its abundant mineral resources, including lithium, tin-niobium-tantalum, gold and iron ore, with good mineralization conditions and good investment prospects. The Chargé d' Affaires' Embassy of Nigeria in China, Ambassador Babagana Wakil spoke of the encouraging impact of China's Belt and Road Initiative in Nigeria, where President Tinubu was invited to attend the China-Africa Forum on September 3, 2024, and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The two heads of state announced the upgrading of China-Nigeria relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. After the meeting, the two heads of state witnessed the signing of 12 bilateral cooperation documents on the cooperation plan for building the “Belt and Road”, the promotion of the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI), economic development, the application of the BeiDou satellite navigation system, the export of peanuts to China, and the news media, among other areas.
