Today, I am very happy to join all of you for the 11th anniversary ceremony of Home and Abroad News Press. Home and Abroad News Press is “the Window of China”, “the Bridge to the World”. Home and Abroad News Press make greater understandings about China for many countries. I want to thank all staffs of the media, thank all of you for creating such wonderful 11 years.
作为在北京工作的大使，是一种荣幸。我要感谢两国人民间的合作和友谊，也感谢中国朋友们对我们的国人、我的家人的热情好客，及两国间的合作。北京历史悠久，文化底蕴深厚，它是中国的首都，是一座美丽的城市。
As an ambassador working in Beijing, this job is such an honor to me. I want to thank the people from both China and Algeria and their partnership and friendship. I also thank Chinese friends who treat our people with warmth and hospitality. Beijing is a long history city with great cultural heritage, and it is also the capital of China, such a beautiful city.
1958年，中国是第一个认可阿尔及利亚国家，从此，两国一直保持着密切的合作和交流。2004年两国宣布升级为战略合作关系，并且1982年两国建立了一个合作委员会，在经济、文化、技术等领域有很多合作。
In 1958, China was the first country who recognized Algeria is an independent country. Since then, the two countries keep the close cooperation and communication. In 2004, China and Algeria announced the strategic partnership and established a cooperative committee in 1982 to promote and direct many cooperative projects in economic, cultural and technology fields.
阿尔及利亚是非洲最大的一个国家。阿尔及利亚的旅游资源非常丰富，著名的旅游景点很多。阿尔及利亚非常欢迎中国的公司到本地投资。
Algeria is the biggest country in Africa. The country has abundant tourism resources. Many famous tourism spots are there. Algeria really welcome Chinese companies to invest in the country.
