The host Wei Yan said that we know that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Under the guidance of the "Shanghai Spirit", the SCO has successfully explored a new type of regional organization's cooperation and development path. Tajikistan is the rotating presidency of SCO this year. 各国使节根据本国的情况，人均资源、生态环境基础等发表了自己的真知灼见，一致认为：实现可持续发展战略是彻底摆脱贫困、创建高度文明的最明智选择。在经济还不够发达，人民不够富裕，发展任务及其繁重的情况下，选择可持续发展道路，这是我们解决环境与发展问题，走出经济效益低，资源短缺、环境恶化的恶性循环怪圈的千载难逢的机遇。实现可持续发展战略，既是长期以来国家发展战略的必然选择，也是在世界各国对比中完善自己的必然结论。
Diplomats from various countries expressed their insights based on their own national conditions, per capita resources, and ecological and environmental foundations, and they all agreed that the realization of a sustainable development strategy is the wisest choice to completely resolve poverty and create a higher level of civilization. When the economy is not developed enough, the people are not rich enough, and the development tasks are difficult to achieve, choosing the path of sustainable development is crucial decision for us to solve the environment and development problems, and stop the vicious circle of low economic benefits, resource shortages and environmental degradation. The realization of a sustainable development strategy is not only an inevitable choice for a country's development strategy in the long run, but also an inevitable conclusion to improve oneself in the comparison of countries in the world.
