On July 22, the ambassador delegation visited Henan GuomaiCultural Industrial Park, and experienced Chinese intangible cultural heritages through making clay sculptures,Martial Arts, Chinese New Year's Paintings, and making Tofu.
首先斯洛伐克共和国驻华大使彼得•利扎克阁下在师傅的指导下，学习印年画，当一幅“天官赐福”的年画在他的精心制作呈现，给人以幸福舒畅、喜庆吉祥的感受。当向大家展示时，迎来了一阵阵掌声，大家祝贺彼得大使“天官赐福”。彼得大使说，我一定要把这幅画带回我的国家，中国的非遗文化太神奇了。
First of all, Ambassador of Slovakia to China H.E. Mr. Peter Lizáklearned to make Chinese New Year's paintings under the guidance of the painting master. His painting work of "Heavenly Official Bestowing Blessings" was presented to give all people a feeling of happiness, joyfulness and auspiciousness. When he showed it to the audience, there was a burst of applause, and everyone congratulated Ambassador Peter on his excellent painting works. 河南省国脉文化产业园的老师们还教大使们学习中国的太极拳，随着音乐响起，老师示范了太极拳的基本动作，行云流水的动作将太极的神韵表现得淋漓尽致。大使们随着音乐、跟着老师的动作认真学习。太极拳不仅是身体动作和手势的练习，也与中国哲学和练习者的内心紧密相关。毛里求斯共和国驻华大使王纯万阁下说，希望未来能在毛里求斯开设中国武馆，他希望成为中外文化之间的友谊桥梁。
The martial arts teachers from Henan Guomai Cultural Industrial Park also taught the ambassadors how to do Chinese Taiji. With the music playing, the teacherdemonstrated the basic movements of Taiji through slow and elegant movements. The ambassadors followed the music and the teacher's movements carefully. Taiji is not only an exercise of physical movements and gestures, but also closely related to Chinese philosophy and the practitioner's minds. Ambassador of Mauritius to ChinaH.E. Mr. Alain Wong Yen Cheong said that he hoped for a Chinese martial arts school could be opened in Mauritius in the future, and this culture piece can be a bridge of friendship between Chinese and foreign cultures.
在陶瓷的制作区域，中外新闻社总裁韦燕携毛里求斯驻华大使王纯万阁下、斯里兰卡驻华大使帕利塔•科霍纳博士,南非驻华大使谢胜文阁下,津巴布韦驻华大使马丁•切冬多阁下在专业师傅的指导下举行陶瓷制作：第一步，练泥。先把瓷石敲碎，尽量捣碎，用舂将碎的瓷石捣成粉末状，用水淘洗，去除瓷石中的杂质，让瓷石粉末慢慢沉淀制作成块状泥块。用水和泥块和好。第二步，拉坯。将第一步制作好的泥团放在转盘的中心，能用手拉泥块，做出大致的坯体形状。拉坯是陶瓷成型的第一道程序，熟悉泥土的收缩率，才能制作出好的陶瓷工艺品。第三步，印坯。在印模外形是根据坯体的内弧旋转削成的，将它晾到半干的状态，将模种均匀地拍在坯体上，再把模种脱掉。第四步，利坯。将坯放在利桶上，旋转车盘，用小刀旋转削掉，让坯体处于一种适当的厚度，它的表面光滑，这步要求要有很高的工艺手法。第五步，晾晒坯体。把加工后成了型的坯放在架子上进行晾晒……大使们认真、仔细的按照师傅教的方法去做，做出来的陶瓷碗、杯子及各种造型的动物虽然没有达到标准，但“栩栩如生”也赢得师傅的好评。
In the clay sculptures production area, PresidentWei Yan, together with Ambassador Alain Wong Yen Cheong, Ambassador Palitha Kohona, and Ambassador Siyabonga C. Cwele learnt how to create a clay cup with the guidance from a professional clay master: the first step is to mix the clay by cracking the porcelain stone and pounding it into powder, then adding water to remove the impurities in the porcelain stoneand making lumpy clay blocks. The second step is billeting. Putting good clay block in the center of the turntable, the clay can be pulled by hand to make the rough shape. This is the first procedure of ceramic molding to get familiar with the shrinkage rate of the clay in order to make good ceramic crafts. The third step is to put the clay into mold. The shape of the clay mold is based on the inner arc of the billet rotary until it become semi-dry, the mold evenly patted on the billet, and then take off the mold carefully. The fourth step is to sharpen the clay by rotating the clay on the turning disk with a small knife chipping off to make the clay with appropriate thickness and smooth its surface. This step requires a high degree of craftsmanship. The fifth step is to drythe clay crafts by putting them on the shelf for air drying ...... Ambassadors seriously and carefully made ceramic bowls according to the master’s instruction. The ceramic bowls, cups and various shapes of animals made by the ambassadors were not up to the standard, but received high praise from the master and the audience.
河南省国脉文化产业园还向大使们展示传统绫罗绸缎、陶艺、木版年画、剪纸、织绣、印染、书画、古琴等丰富的民族非物质文化遗产技艺，大使们通过交流、参观，学习和互动体验等多种方式，感受中国非物质文化遗产特色魅力，并表示要对中国非物质文化遗产传播、推广到自己所在国家，让全世界分享中国非遗文化的魅力。
Henan Guomai Cultural Industrial Parkalso showed the ambassadors the rich national intangibles and skills such as traditional damask, pottery, woodblock prints, paper-cutting, weaving and embroidery, printing and dyeing, painting and calligraphy, traditional music etc. The ambassadors experienced the characteristics of China's intangible cultural heritages in a variety of forms such as exchanges, study tours, interactivelearning sessionsto express their intention to spread and promote China's intangible cultural heritage to their own countries, so as to let the whole world share the uniqueness of Chinese intangible cultural heritages.
