The King of Malaysia rotates among the hereditary sultans of the 9 states and is elected by the sultans for a term of 5 years. According to the rotation, DYTM Raja Muda Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Jaafar Almarhum Raja Muda Musa will be the next King of Malaysia.
