【中外新闻网记者 韦 燕 刘登臣 张学跚】蒙古国位于中华人民共和国以北、俄罗斯联邦以南，是一个地处亚洲的内陆国家，中国现在特定的战略，如丝绸之路，西部开发等方面都与蒙古国存在合作的空间。10月23日下午，中蒙双方在呼和浩特签署《中华人民共和国商务部与蒙古国工业部关于联合举办中国—蒙古国博览会的谅解备忘录》。
Mongolia is located between China and Russia, and it is a landlocked country in the centre of Asia. China is now promoting a specific strategy, including the “Silk Road”, with many development projects in the Western China. There will be great potentials for the economic cooperation between China and Mongolia. In the afternoon of October 23rd, China and Mongolia signed “The Memorandum of Understandingon Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China and Ministry of Industry of Mongolia jointly organizing the China and Mongolia Expo”in Hohhot.

The Ministry of Industry of Mongolia, Mr. DondogdorjErdenebat attended the signing ceremony and accepted our exclusive interview to talk about China and Mongolia’s future economic cooperation.
额尔登巴特部长说，根据谅解备忘录，中蒙双方将自2015年起每两年在内蒙古呼和浩特市举办一次中蒙博览会，并将该博览会打造成为促进中蒙乃至东北亚地区贸易、投资、旅游和文化交流等经济合作的新平台。中华人民共和国商务部与蒙古国工业部将作为中蒙博览会中央层面的主办单位。
Minister Erdenebatsaid that according to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two countries will holdthe China and Mongolia Expo biennially in Hohhot starting 2015. This cross-regional event will make Inner Mongolia even the Northeastern Asia as the new platform for regional trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges and economic cooperation. Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Industry of Mongolia will be the key organizers for this Expo event from the central government level.

额尔登巴特部长谈到，此次谅解备忘录的签署，将进一步深化中蒙全面战略伙伴关系，挖掘合作潜力，提升合作水平，推动中蒙地方经济合作，为中蒙两国企业开展贸易投资等经济合作搭建平台。
Minister Erdenebatalso addressed that the MOU will further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Mongolia, discover great potentials for bilateral cooperation, enhance the currentcollaboration and promote regional economic exchange between Mongolia and China. This Expo will build another platform between Chinese and Mongolian enterprises to develop trade, investment and economic cooperation.
记者在采访中了解到，蒙古国戈壁地区太阳能、风力能源丰富，今后不仅要开发利用好煤炭资源，还要利用好再生能源，加大对再生能源的开发利用。额尔登巴特希望蒙中两国在此领域加强合作，进一步提高合作规模和水平。
In the interview, the journalists learned that Mongolia has rich resources for solar energy and wind energy. The two countries will not only to continue utilizing coal resources, but also make good use of renewable energy. Minister Erdenebat hopesMongolia and China to strengthen cooperation in this field to further enhance the cooperation scale and level.
额尔登巴特在接受记者采访时激动地说：“由于蒙古国与中国接壤的地缘优势，再加上长期交流，这使得两国消费者在心理上产生相当大的认同，商品销路很好。这充分说明了两国今后在经贸合作中巨大的空间，所以举办此次中蒙博览会恰逢其时、非常必要。”
Minister Erdenebatexcitedlytold journalists: “Because of thegeopolitical advantagesbetween Mongolia and China and the long-term exchange relationship, consumers in the two countries widely accept the products from each other; therefore, the merchandise are sold well in both markets. This fully shows that the bilateral economic and trade cooperation has a promising future. The China-MongoliaExpo came at the right time, it is a necessary and important event to discover great potentials.”
额尔登巴特说，首届中蒙博览会只是一个开始，今后每两年将举办一届中蒙博览会，形成长效的交流机制和全方位合作的新平台。“今后，两国应在更多领域融合，尤其像这样的盛会，相信一定会一次更比一次好，我现在就对2017年的中蒙博览会充满了期待。2017年，我还会再来！”
Minister Erdenebat said theChina-MongoliaExpo is just a beginning. In the future, this event will be held once every two years to form a new platform for long-term exchange and cooperation in all fields. “In the future, the two countries should integrate more industries and sectors, especially like this event. We hope this Expo can become an annual event. I am looking forward to the 2017 Expo in Mongolia. I will come again for sure!"
