4月12日，卢旺达驻华大使恩加兰贝在使馆官邸会见了中外新闻社总编辑韦燕、常务副总编辑胡树萌等一行，并就中卢两国关系、经贸旅游等方面问题接受了采访。
Apr 12th, Home & Abroad News Press’ Chief Editor and Executive Deputy Editor, Mr. Wei Yan and Mr. Hu Shumeng, had exclusive interview with Mr. Ngarambe, the Rwandan ambassador in China about the bilateral relationships between China and Rwanda in the embassy residence.
恩加兰贝大使说，卢旺达与中国在1971年建交以来，双方在政治、经济、文化等方面都有良好的合作与交流。两个国家的治国方针有一个很大的共同点，就是对自己的人民非常的关心，无论是在社会安全方面，还是经济发展方面，都很关注人民的所需去创建、维护，国家的发展都是以人民为基础的。
Ambassador said that Rwanda and China have established good cooperation and exchanges in politics, economy, culture and other areas since founding the diplomatic relationship in 1971. The two countries’ share the same value in the national policies, which is to attach great emphasis on their own people in many aspects including social security, economic development and cultural prosperity. The tow countries concern about people's needs and aim to build and maintain a great foundation for people during the national development progress.
大使说，在卢旺达的矿业、农业以及其他行业的建设发展中，都有很多中国友人去投资，在中国也有很多卢旺达商人在这里经商以及进行商业的交流。中国在农业、医疗、基础设施建设等方面给予了卢旺达很大的帮助，非常感谢中国政府对卢旺达的支持。
Ambassador also said that there are many Chinese people investing in Rwanda in mining, agriculture and other industries. Here are also many Rwandan merchants doing business in China. China gave great supports to Rwanda in agriculture, health, infrastructure construction and other fields; therefore, the ambassador really appreciated Chinese government for supporting Rwanda.
恩加兰贝大使说，卢旺达是个非常美丽的国家，卢旺达的旅游主要体现它的原生态。卢旺达有很多非常漂亮的自然景观，河流、树林等等。国家公园里面有很多原始生态的动物，如长颈鹿、大象、猩猩等动物，它是一个露天开放式的公园，游人可以亲身去接触这些动物。同时在卢旺达还有人文景观，在部分地区还会经常看到一些歌舞、乐器的表演。目前我们也正在建设和发展卢旺达的旅游业，将来吸引更多的中国朋友去卢旺达旅游，去了解卢旺达。
He continued, Rwanda is a very beautiful country, and the country’s tourism is mainly from its original ecology. Rwanda has uncountable beautiful natural landscapes, rivers, forests. The National Parks have many original wild animals such as giraffes, elephants, gorillas and other animals, which is an open-concept place where visitors can make close contacts with animals in person. Rwanda also has cultural heritages. You may see some original dance performances and musical instruments performances in some areas. To further promote Rwanda’s tourism, we are exploring, building and developing new attractions to get more Chinese people to travel to Rwanda and learn more about Rwanda in the future.
卢旺达共和国，位于非洲中东部、赤道南侧的内陆国，属联合国宣布的世界上最不发达国家之一。主要出口咖啡、茶叶、皮革、锡、钨等，进口燃料、车辆、机械、电器、纺织品等。
The Republic of Rwanda is a landlocked country, located in the Central Eastern Africa and south of the equator. The United Nations listed it as one of the least developed countries. The country’s main exports include coffee, tea, leather, tin, tungsten, and it also imports fuel, vehicles, machineries, electrical appliances, textiles and such.
中卢1971年正式建立外交关系，1972年两国政府签订贸易协定后，双边贸易发展迅速，2010年贸易额达到8867万美元。中国从2005年开始给予出口到中国的原产于卢旺达的187种产品以零关税的特别优惠待遇，至2010年1月，免关税待遇商品达到60%（4721个条目）。中国企业也纷纷来卢投资发展，截至2011年4月，中国在卢投资总额已达9000万美元。
Rwanda and China established formal diplomatic relations in 1971. The two countries signed a trade agreement in 1972. Since then, the bilateral trade had developed rapidly and trade volume reached USD $88.67 million in 2010. From 2005, 187 kinds of original Rwanda products are imported to China with zero tariff preferential treatments and the duty-free goods reached more than 60% (about 4721 kinds) till Jan 2010. Chinese enterprises have come to Rwanda to invest and develop business opportunities. As of April 2011, the total investments made by Chinese companies are over $90 million U.S. dollars.
