两个文化底蕴丰富的大国---伊朗和中国需要进一步拓展双方的文化交流。3月22日，伊朗驻华使馆文化参赞侯赛因•贾利万德博士在中外新闻社总编辑韦燕等陪同下，前往湖南省常德市参观常德诗墙、大河茶馆及长沙市湖南师范大学考察。
    China and Iran are the two great courtiers with abundant cultures. In order to further strengthen the cultural exchanges between the two countries. March 22nd, Iranian Cultural Counsellor to China Dr. Jallilvand, accompanied by the Chief Editor of Home and Abroad News Press Mrs. Wei Yan, visited Changde City in Hunan Province and went to see the Changde Poetry Wall, the River Teahouse and Hunan Normal University.

    在常德市，参观被誉为“世界最长的诗书画刻艺术墙”，因为上面有包括著名诗人哈菲兹等多位伊朗诗人菲尔多西、海亚姆、萨迪和哈菲兹等的诗歌，已被翻译成中文。贾利万德连连称赞艺术墙有创意。他表示，伟大的民族因为有灿烂的文化才经久不衰，他希望两国人民世代友好。常德市副市长沈习淼会见了贾利万德一行。
    In Changde City, Dr. Jallilvand and other embassy officials visited the “Poetry Wall” known as the longest poetry and calligraphy wall in the world. There are famous works on that wall from well-known poets and artists around the world, including Hafiz, Rudaki and such, and has been translated into Chinese. Dr. Jallilvand praised such great idea to build a poetry wall. He said that a great nation is enduring because of the splendid culture. He hopes that the friendship between Chinese and Iranian people goes from generation to generation. Vice Mayor of Changde City Shen Ximiao met with Dr. Jallilvand and the delegation.

    3月23日上午，贾利万德一行来湖南师范大学美术学院学考察，校常务副校长卢岳华在美术学院热情会见了客人。
    In the morning of March 23rd, Dr. Jallilvand and the delegation visited Hunan Normal University Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Lu Yuehua, the Executive Vice President, warmly greeted guests in the main hall.
 
　　卢岳华对贾利万德一行的来访表示热烈欢迎。卢岳华表示，中伊两国都是有着悠久文明历史的古国，在很多方面我们有着共同之处，希望通过参赞先生地访问能和伊方教育界有更多了解、交流与合作的机会。
    Lu Yuehua extended a warm welcome to Dr. Jallilvand. He said, both China and Iraq are the ancient countries with long civilization history. We have many common things in certain areas. He hoped that there are more understandings, exchanges and cooperative opportunities with Iranian educators in the future.

　  贾利万德赞扬了该校办学模式，希望两国学者要坚持和弘扬各自优秀文化传统，公正客观的研究对方传统文化。他表示，将为两国校际间的合作与交流贡献自己的力量。
　　Dr. Jallilvand appreciated the school system in the university and hoped that the scholars of the two countries should carry forward their own cultural traditions and objectively evaluate others’ traditions. He will made more contributions to promote the cooperation and communications between the schools.

    临行前，贾利万德参赞并饶有兴致地用毛笔题词：“求知哪怕远到中国”。
    Before leaving the campus, Dr. Jallilvand happily wrote an inscription “To gain greater knowledge, even came far from Iran to China”
