At the exchange meeting, Counselor Lucia Skvareninova provided a detailed overview of the current investment and cooperation opportunities available through the Slovak government: 1. Delivering user-friendly e-government services for citizens; 2. Building digital infrastructure in schools: Investing in digital equipment, including providing such devices to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, enhancing digital skills, and fostering a new learning ecosystem; 3. Enterprise digitalization: Constructing a supercomputer, creating a digital highland network, assisting enterprises in digitizing their processes, and providing digital skills training. 4. The remarkable health benefits of Slovakia's underground mineral resources. 5. Highway infrastructure, etc. Currently, Chinese enterprises engaged in investment cooperation in Slovakia include Huawei, ZTE, Shanghai Yanfeng, Qingdao Ruankong, and CGL Company. Multiple Chinese companies hold controlling stakes in Slovakian automotive parts factories. With the global emphasis on green development, Slovakia will welcome new investment opportunities in clean energy and environmental protection sectors. An increasing number of Chinese companies are conducting feasibility studies in Slovakia for electric vehicle battery and new energy projects, exploring new investment cooperation possibilities. While some projects remain in the evaluation phase, local governments are paying close attention and expressing strong support.

In recent years, within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Central and Eastern European Countries cooperation, both sides have achieved positive results in economic and trade, science and technology, tourism, people-to-people exchanges, and connectivity. China is the Slovakia 's largest trading partner outside the EU, while the Slovakia ranks as China's fifth-largest trading partner and top source of imports in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2024, bilateral trade reached US$9.72 billion. This visit has achieved multiple areas of consensus, effectively advancing the upgrading practical cooperation and accelerating development strategies between the two countries.
