On December 4, 2021, Mr.Liu Jinsong, the Director of the Department of Asian Affairs of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was invited by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to China H.E. Mr.Arthayudh Srisamoot to attend the Thai National Day Reception in the Thailand Embassy in Beijing.     每年的12月5日是泰国具有三重意义的重要日子，泰国的国庆节、普密蓬•阿杜德大帝诞辰纪念日以及泰国的父亲节。
    Every December 5th is an important day in Thailand with three significant meanings including the Thailand’s National Day, Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday anniversary and Thailand’s Father’s Day.
    招待会开始，会场上奏响了泰王国国歌、中华人民共和国国歌，泰国驻华大使阿塔育•习萨目在招待会上致欢迎辞。他说，泰中关系绵延700年历史，两国友谊深入民心。面对新冠疫情，中方对泰方鼎力相助，用实际行动证明了“中泰一家亲”，令人钦佩和感动。阿塔育大使在招待会致辞中感谢中方坚定履行将新冠疫苗作为全球公共产品的承诺，表示泰国正致力实现包容、低碳、弹性的增长，这符合习近平主席提出的全球发展倡议，希同中方加强绿色经济、数字经济、互联互通等领域合作，促进两国和地区的协同发展。作为明年亚太经合组织东道国，泰方支持中方继续发挥建设性作用，愿同中方携手构建“开放、连接、平衡”的亚太共同体。泰方也欢迎中方为中国—东盟及澜湄合作作出新贡献。

At the beginning of the reception, the National Anthem of the Kingdom of Thailand and the National Anthem of the People's Republic of China were played. Thai Ambassador to China H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot gave a welcome speech at the reception. He said that Thailand-China relations have a history of 700 years, and the friendship between the two countries is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has provided great assistance to Thailand and proved that "China and Thailand are one family" with practical actions, which is admirable and moving. In his speech at the reception, Ambassador Arthayudh Srisamoot thanked China for its firm commitment to the COVID-19 vaccines as a global public on-demand product, saying that Thailand is committed to achieving inclusive, low-carbon, and resilient growth. This is in line with the global development initiative put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping and hopes to cooperate with China in the fields of green economy, digital economy, and economic interconnections, and promote the coordinated development of the two countries and regions. As the host country of the APEC next year, Thailand supports China in continuing to play a constructive role and is willing to work with China to build an "open, connected and balanced" Asia-Pacific community. Thailand also welcomes China's new contributions to China-ASEAN and Lancang-Mekong Cooperation.

阿塔育大使表示， 2021年对于我们许多人来说都是具有重大意义的一年。对中国来说，今年不仅是中国共产党成立100周年，也是全面建设小康社会取得历史性成就的一年，也是十四五规划通过的一年。泰方对此表示祝贺，并期待双方在绿色经济、数字经济、农村发展、区域互通、互联互通等领域继续探讨未来的合作的途径。
Ambassador Arthayudh Srisamoot stated that 2021 will be a year of great significance for many of us. For China, this year is not only the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, but also a year of historic achievements in building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, and the year when the 14th Five-Year Plan was passed. Thailand congratulates on these remarkable achievements and expects that both parties will continue to explore ways of future cooperation in the fields of green economy, digital economy, rural development, regional and bilateral interconnection.

Ambassador Arthayudh Srisamoot also pointed out that, as the host country of the APEC in 2022, Thailand will promote its excellent development and enable the region to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth. At the same time, it will promote APEC's progress through the PCC economic model, bioeconomy, circular economy and green economy towards a sustainable and balanced post-COVID development era, Thailand is committed to building an Asia-Pacific community as “open and inclusive” to all opportunities in all directions and aspects.

外交部亚洲司司长刘劲松表示，中方高度重视中泰关系，新冠疫情发生以来，两国互施援手，生动体现了“中泰一家亲”的深厚情谊。中方将继续通过提供疫苗等方式支持泰抗疫事业。着眼疫后复苏，泰方提出“生态可循环绿色”（BCG）经济模式，同习近平主席提出的“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念契合。中方愿同泰方围绕可持续发展、经济复苏、基础设施建设等加强合作，携手推进中泰铁路建设，同已于昨日通车的中老铁路早日实现贯通，造福沿线人民。中方支持“一带一路”与泰“东部经济走廊”对接，希与泰方共同推进全球发展倡议。明年泰方将接任亚太经合组织东道国，中方愿同泰方加强沟通协调，积极构建亚太命运共同体。刘劲松向阿塔育大使面交并介绍当日国务院新闻办发布的《中国的民主》白皮书。

Mr.Liu Jinsong, the Director of the Department of Asian Affairs of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that China attaches great importance to China-Thailand relations. China will continue to support Thailand's anti-pandemic efforts by providing vaccines and necessary supplies. Focusing on the recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, Thailand proposed the “Bio-Circular-Green” (BCG) economy model, which is consistent with the concept of “Green is Gold” proposed by President Xi Jinping. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Thailand on sustainable development, economic recovery, infrastructure construction and jointly promote the construction of the China-Thailand railway to connect with the China-Laos railway, which was launched to traffic yesterday, that will provide tremendous benefits to the people along the railway line. China supports the docking of the “Belt and Road” and Thailand's “Eastern Economic Corridor” to jointly promote global development initiatives with Thailand. Next year, Thailand will take over as the host country of the APEC. China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Thailand and actively build a community with a shared future in the Asia-Pacific region. At the end of his speech, Mr.Liu Jinsong presented the newly published book "China's Democracy" to Ambassador Arthayudh Srisamoot.
