今天，我很荣幸作为 "2024中外新闻社年度新闻人物 "获奖者之一站在国家会议中心接受颁奖，我衷心感谢中外新闻社授予我这个奖项。我特别值得注意到，中外新闻社成立23年、成为具有良好声誉和影响力的国际媒体，已向近百名外国大使颁发了这一殊荣。
Today, I am honored to stand at the China National Convention Center to receive the award as one of the winners of the “2024 Home and Abroad News Press – News Person of the Year”, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Home and Abroad News Press for conferring this award on me. It is particularly noteworthy to me that in the 23 years since its establishment and its emergence as an international media outlet with a good reputation and influence, Home and Abroad News Press has presented this precious award to nearly 100 foreign ambassadors.
古巴和中国是好朋友、好同志、好兄弟。2024年，古中两国继续在各自核心问题上、在国际舞台上相互支持，并继续在各个领域开展合作，特别是在新能源、粮食生产和信息通信等共同关心的重点领域。古巴感谢中国政府通过重要合作项目提供的支持，这些项目有助于古巴的经济和社会发展，“在瓢泼大雨中，我们见证了中国朋友如何在一个凌晨，以最短的时间出色完成了为古巴捐赠大米的装机工作，这只是证明古中两国人民之间特殊友好感情的众多事例之一”。
Cuba and China are good friends and brothers. In 2024, Cuba and China continued to support each other on their respective core issues and keep good cooperation in various fields, especially new energy, food production and information and communications. Cuba is grateful for the support provided by the Chinese government through important cooperation projects that contribute to Cuba's economic and social development, “In the pouring rain, we witnessed how our Chinese friends completed the loading of the rice donation for Cuba in the shortest possible time, and this is just one of the many examples that attests to the special and friendly feelings between the peoples of Cuba and China.
中古两国于1960年9月28日正式建立外交关系，古巴是第一个同新中国建交的拉美关系的国家，中国是古巴真正的朋友。
Diplomatic relations between China and Cuba were formally established on September 28, 1960, and Cuba was the first country in Latin American relations to establish diplomatic relations with the new China, which is a true friend of Cuba.

The relationship between Cuba and China has been promoted on the basis of equality and mutual respect, and it is also a relationship between two socialist countries. Cooperation between Cuba and China has achieved many results in biopharmaceuticals, and there is wide scope for cooperation in areas such as renewable energy and cybersecurity. A number of joint ventures and research centers have been set up between the two countries, which have led to the development of a number of scientific achievements, including anti-cancer drugs. The cooperation between the two countries has served the people of both countries well.
当前国际社会对中国非常感兴趣，因为中国在世界上发挥了很重要的作用，是当今世界重要的和平、稳定因素，这是毫无疑问的。
There is no doubt that the international community is very interested in China because of the important role it plays in the world, and that it is an important factor of peace and stability in the world today.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China, it has exemplified the mutual respect between China and Latin American countries and is a role model in bilateral relations. China has played a very important role in the world and is an important factor of peace and stability in today's world. Cuba hopes to share China's vision of sustainable, people-centered development. The two countries could learn from each other.
