The Ambassador of Benin to China, H.E. Mr. Simon P. Adovelande is a brilliant diplomat and politician. Benin is known as the "gateway" to West Africa. As the ambassador, Mr. Adovelande visited many cities, universities and colleges in China with his strong sense of political awareness and economic development to promote various cooperation between China and Benin in political, economic, social, educational, and cultural sectors: The 2017 Business Environment Report released by the World Bank shows that Benin ranks the 155th. In business creation, Benin's ranking increased to the 57th this year from the 117th place in the last year.
