Ladies and gentlemen, all our friends, good evening!
今天，我们中外嘉宾汇聚一堂，共同庆祝中外新闻社13周年生日我很高兴。韦燕总裁和她领导的中外新闻社是一个非常优秀、非常敬业、具有创造性的新闻媒体。十三年来，他们以坚毅不拔精神在国际舞台上不断创新，努力让世界看到一个深层次的中国，同时让中国人民了解世界，并取得了巨大成功。这要归功于中外新闻社主力团队的勤劳智慧。
Today, I am delighted to gather here with all of our Chinese and foreign guests to celebrate the 13th Anniversary of Home and Abroad News Press. The team of Home and Abroad News Press, led by President Wei Yan, is an excellent, professional and creative news media. For the past 13 years, Home and Abroad News Press held its unshakable faith in innovation while being active in the international community. Furthermore, it has made great efforts to bring a deeper understanding about China to the world while providing the opportunity for the Chinese people to learn from other countries. This remarkable accomplishment is made by the dedication and wisdom of this elite team.
中外新闻社创办的《中外新闻》以海外媒体独特视角，解读着中外发生的许多重要事件，引起了海内外的关注。中外新闻社坚持爱国爱港的创社宗旨，对香港的繁荣稳定、发展，对促进香港与内地的交流与合作、对传播和弘扬中华民族文化也作出了不懈努力，他们的工作得到了国内外各界的支持和认可。
News Home and Abroad founded by Home and Abroad News Press makes interpretation of many Chinese and foreign important events with unique points of views, which attracted a lot of attention from both domestic and international communities. Home and Abroad News Press insisted on its business philosophy in “Love Hong Kong, Love China” and made continuous efforts to ensure Hong Kong's prosperity, stability and development. It also promoted the exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Mainland China for the spreading of Chinese culture around the world. Their work received tremendous support and recognitions from all around the world.
今天，我特别对中外新闻社团队十三年来所作出的卓有成效的工作和取得的成功表示热烈的祝贺。并预祝他们在未来的工作中继续为促进中国人民和世界人民的相互了解、友谊和合作做出更大的贡献。同时，我对今晚即将获得2013《中外新闻》时代新闻人物的各国驻华大使和中国朋友表示祝贺。
Today, I especially want to express my gratitude and congratulations to Home and Abroad News Press for its 13-year success and I wish for them to continue to making greater contributions to further promote mutual understanding and friendship and cooperation development between the Chinese people and people around the world. At the same time, I would like to congratulate all the prize winners of “The News Persons of the Year”.
