The 2018 Russia World Cup made the world know Croatia because the Croatian football team reached the final game. While taking the second place in the World Cup, it also won the respect of the whole world. “碧塞拉参赞您好！我们小记者能到克罗地亚使馆采访感到非常高兴。2018俄罗斯世界杯让全世界认识了克罗地亚，克罗地亚闯入决赛，在赢得世界杯亚军的同时，也赢得了全世界的尊重！特别是克罗地亚总统基塔罗维奇自费看球，给每一个本国球员抹去眼泪。克罗地亚在俄罗斯感动的故事一幕接一幕，请碧塞拉参赞谈谈克罗地亚这支英雄的足球队。谢谢！”小记者话音响起。
“Hello, Counsellor Bisera! It’s our honor to have this interview with the Croatian embassy in China. In 2018 Russia World Cup, the whole world witnessed the great performance of Croatian football team. The team entered the final game and eventually ended up the second place with the great respect from the world. Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović comforted each player of the Croatian football team. There were many touching stories made by Croatian people in Russia this year. We want to know how you see this hero team of Croatia? Thank you!” we asked.
碧塞拉参赞激动地回答：“是的，2018俄罗斯世界杯让全世界认识了克罗地亚，同时也赢得了全世界人民的心。整个克罗地亚有400万人，当我们的足球队从俄罗斯回到祖国的时候，有50万人来机场接飞机，从机场到市中心只需要25分钟的时间，但是这支球队用了六个小时，因为大家非常的喜悦来迎接他们，迎接英雄的球队回国。我们总统去俄罗斯看每一场的足球赛，为每一次的比赛加油，这一次的世界杯没有感觉只是11个球员的努力，而是整个克罗地亚国家的荣耀，这样的世界杯比赛，把整个国家、所有的人民凝聚在一起。虽然每一位克罗地亚球员的身价都非常的高，比赛的时候他们是团结一心，把整个比赛拿下，对这次世界杯的盛况，虽然法国赢得了冠军，但是克罗地亚赢得了全世界人民的心，现在大家只要一提到克罗地亚，第一反应就是我们的足球。我过海关，当海关官员看见我的护照时，他们说，哇，克罗地亚的，然后就会为我们喝彩。我现在去银行办业务排队很长，银行的客服看到我的护照是克罗地亚，然后马上就把我引到VIP窗口办理。还有早上打的的时候，司机看到我是克罗地亚人，滴滴师傅也会为我们足球队喝彩，这都是因为我们克罗地亚足球外交带来的效应。”
Counsellor Bisera replied excitedly: “Yes, the 2018 Russia World Cup made the world know Croatia and won the hearts of people all over the world. There are only four million people in Croatia, when our football team returned back home from Russia, at that time, more than 500,000 people came to the airport to welcome the team. It only takes 25 minutes from the airport to downtown, but our football team spent about six hours on the highway because everyone was very pleased to meet them and welcome the hero team back to Croatia. Our president went to Russia to watch and cheer for every football match. It was not just the efforts of 11 football players, but also it was the glory of the entire nation of Croatia. This World Cup game united the people and the whole country. Although every Croatian player has very high value, they are united as the one team in the game and finally won the second place. For the World Cup this year, although France won the championship, Croatia won the hearts of the people around the world. Now when everyone mentions Croatia, their first reaction is our football team. When I passed the customs in the Beijing Capital Airport, the customs officer saw my passport and cheered for my country. When I went to the bank for some banking needs and waited in a long queue, the bank's customer services manager saw my Croatian passport then invited me to the VIP window to save much of my time. Also, when I took DiDi taxi in the morning, the taxi driver saw me as a Croatian, and he cheered up for our football team in the car. These are the wonderful results of our Croatian football diplomacy.”
小记者饶有兴趣的问道：“克罗地亚2017 年被评为最佳旅行地第一名，著名音乐家马克西姆写了一首曲子叫《克罗地亚狂想曲》，我们期待到克罗地亚旅游观光，请你谈谈克罗地亚的旅游资源？谢谢！”
A junior journalist asked: “Hello, Counsellor Bisera! Croatia was named the best place to travel in 2017. Famous musician Maksim wrote a song called "Croatia Rhapsody". We are looking forward to visiting in Croatia. Please share with us about Croatia's tourism resources. Thank you!”
碧塞拉：很多人去过克罗地亚，亲自的去感受克罗地亚的自然风貌和风土人情，古堡和历史，马可波罗是意大利人，他的出生地是克罗地亚，现在有很多人想去马可波罗的故居去看一看， 10月来克罗地亚旅游是最好的季节。
Counsellor Bisera answered that many people have been to Croatia, they personally felt the natural features and special Croatian customs. We have many castles and splendid history. Marco Polo was Italian, but his birthplace was in Croatia. Many people come to visit Marco Polo’s former residence each year. The best season to visit Croatia would be October.
小记者问：我们从网上了解到：克罗地亚从学校到家长，从来不会给孩子太多的负担。教育部规定，小学1至4年级，老师布置的家庭作业的完成时间不得超过半个小时，4至8年级，不得超过一个小时。为的就是把更多的时间留给孩子们干自己爱干的事情。请问参赞女士：这是真的吗？
A junior journalist said that we learned from the Internet that Croatian school to parents never gives children too much study burden. The Ministry of Education made guideline for no homework more than a half hour for grade 1 to grade 4 students and no homework more than one hour for grade 4 to grade 8 students. The children have more time to do anything they enjoy. Is that true?
碧塞拉：克罗地亚的学生上课的时候的确没有太多的作业，克罗地亚小朋友有很多自由的时间，去学习才艺和做自己感兴趣的事情，去享受自己的童年。碧塞拉参赞有一位年龄和我们一样大的小女孩，颜值很高，女儿非常喜欢唱歌和跳舞，碧塞拉参赞说她的梦想是参加中国好声音之类的比赛，一夜成名。
Counsellor Bisera answered: Croatian students do not have much homework from their schools. Croatian children have a lot of free time to learn many things and spend time to do things they enjoy. Counsellor Bisera has a little girl who is about the same age as ours. She is a very beautiful girl. Her daughter likes to sing and dance very much. She said that her dream is to participate in a talent show and become famous overnight.
采访结束，碧塞拉参赞接受小记者赠送小礼物，小记者手拿克罗地亚球衣同碧塞拉参赞合影，分享克罗地亚足球队的荣耀……
At the end of the interview, Counsellor Bisera accepted the gifts from the junior journalists and took photos with the jersey of the Croatian national football team to share the glory of this hero team…
