佛得角驻华大使罗穆阿尔多是一位出色的外交官和政治家，她曾任佛得角总统办公室主任，任佛得角驻比利时和葡萄牙大使馆官员及至葡萄牙语国家共同体工作。罗穆阿尔多大使任职期间-- 2015年12月23日，中佛两国外交部签署了《中华人民共和国外交部和佛得角共和国外交部关于建立磋商机制的协议》。在这个节点上，罗穆阿尔多把中国和佛得角之间的合作进入了一个新的阶段，特别体现中国企业投资佛得角再生能源、海洋经济（港口和船厂）、民用航空业和旅游业等领域可行性得到认可，2016年中佛贸易额达到4942万美元，同比增加9.96%，佛中友好合作关系堪称成功与典范。
Winning reasons:
The Ambassador of Cabo Verde to China, H.E. Mrs. Tania Romualdo is an outstanding female diplomat and politician who served as Director of the Office of the President of Cape Verde. She also served as Cape Verde embassy officer in Belgium and Portugal. During her term as the Ambassador, China and Cabo Verde signed the “Agreement on the Establishment of Consultative Mechanism between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cape Verde”. With this important milestone, she took the cooperation between China and Cape Verde to a new level, particularly in feasibility of Chinese companies investing in Cape Verde's renewable energy, marine economy (ports and shipyards), civil aviation and tourism. In 2016, China and Cabo Verde’s trade volume reached 49.42 million US dollars, an increase of 9.96%.
